About us
Research and education
The Institute of Communications and Computer Networks conducts innovative research studies that focus on the technology and recent trends in telecommunications networks. In the past years we have investigated many topics, including various issues in traffic theory, broadband networks, switching, network integration, the Internet and telecommunications tariff systems. Fourteen staff members of the Chair are also involved in educational-related programs and projects. Classes and courses offered by the Chair provide students with basic knowledge, skills and understanding of rules in network technologies, and then the complexity of the network architecture, protocols, control and implementation, as well as the economic aspects of telecommunications.
